When utilising resources such as business directories or ringing around suppliers you never know the service quality you can expect. Furthermore its harder to find the balance between getting a good price whilst still getting good service.
What defines a quality skip bin hire service?
1. Delivery on time.
2. Pickup on time.
3. Registered Waste Carrier so dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly way.
4. Reliability.
5. Flexibility in dealing with changing customers needs.
6. Friendly Service & Advice.
7. Easy to contact if need be.
BookaBin has access to a large pool of suppliers in New Zealand, meaning we can source the best price for you.
We don’t let any old Supplier offer their services. Suppliers can only remain in our system if they consistently prove they are a quality provider for our customers.
What does this mean? You get sharp competitive prices AND great service. Better yet it only takes you minutes to order!
What do you think? Have you used our service before? Send us your feedback we’d love to hear from you…

Following Part 1: What to do when Hiring a Bin here’s Part 2 What not to Do.
What not to Do:
1) Do not overload the skip bin! This is dangerous, may cause excess fees and commonly local regulations can mean the skip is not actually allowed to be transported.
2) Do not place hazardous materials in the bin. These include Asbestos, Solvents, Paints, Acids, Laboratory Waste, Oils, Grease traps etc.
3) Do not move the Bin.
4) Do not light fires in it. (Yes we know obvious, but some people do).
5) Do not put concrete in a General Waste Bin or vice versa.
If you are are unsure of any items you are disposing of, the best thing is to double check with your supplier. We will provide you with their contact details after you complete your booking on BookaBin.

There are a few things you should consider when you hire a bin to get rid of your waste/rubbish. So we’ve compiled a quick list of What to Do.
What to Do:
1) Plan ahead. How much do you need to dispose of? Will you require a larger bin? Is your waste quite heavy?
2) Where do you want the bin? Having the bin placed on your land makes it easier for all parties involved. If it is placed on Council or Public Land you may require a permit.
3) Get a quote for the next size up. Often it may be more competitively priced and you could save money!
4) Consider the location of the bin. Is it protected from the elements if the weather gets rough?
5) Get a few mates around to help you fill it.
6) Put heavy material at the bottom.
7) Get the bin placed as close to the rubbish as possible.
8) Ensure you have it long enough to fill the bin.
9) Book as far in advance as possible.
What Not to Do when Hiring a Bin will be up in a few days.
