Daylight saving commences on the last Sunday in September (this year, Sunday 28), when when clocks go forward one hour and 2.00am becomes 3.00am, then ends on the first Sunday in April the following year, when 3.00am becomes 2.00am.
So what are you waiting for? Oh yeah, you’ll probably need a skip bin. So why not take the time now and book one online in less than 60 seconds! You could get started on that clean-up tomorrow!

Wellington has the Waikato visiting to challenge their mighty Lions. The Black Seeds are entertaining Christchurch. There is a Homecoming Parade in Bay of Plenty for BMX Champion Sarah Walker. Northland have their best hats on for the races at Ruakaka. New Plymouth will be munching through buckets of popcorn for their International Film Festival. So what are you doing? Need To Do Some DIY?
If you are nowhere near these exciting events, how about spicing up your own back yard by getting rid of anything that won’t be needed for the upcoming months of summer fun?
All those broken trees blown over during wet windy winter can be sent away in a Green Waste Bin, the old shed that’s fallen down can be carted away in a General Waste Bin. Get rid of the path, in a Clean Fill Bin, it’s time for a new BBQ area, summer is on its way!

Sunday is the day we celebrate the big guy, Fathers Day, the annual celebration of the paternal parent.
Most fathers will be getting gifts of socks, ties and underwear. Some very lucky dads will be getting Power tools, lucky Lotto tickets and other manly equipment. If your dad is ”into” the “outdoors” why not think outside the square and hire him a skip bin!
I’m sure most Mums will be impressed with your gratitude towards your Father and you never know, he may be able to fill it up with all his old socks, ties and underwear to make way for all his new stuff!
Take a look at our General Waste Bin prices at www.bookabin.co.nz (these are the bins you can fill with bits and bobs). If he’s a greenie, go for a Green Waste Bin to dispose of all his garden waste. If he’s more of a “Tim the Tool Man” a Clean fill bin will suit him best.
Book and pay online, your “gift” will be delivered and you won’t have had to make any phone calls, shopping Mall visits or cash withdrawals, simple!
