Time To Get Cracking!

November 29th, 2009 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

Christmas and New Years are approaching fast…so is that beautiful summer we have all been hanging out for! If you want to tidy up or spruce up the place a bit before the invasion of relatives then you better get cracking, the time is almost up!

We have a bin type for all your needs, whether you have been bringing out your green fingers and require a bin for all that garden waste, then a green garden waste bin is for you. Or maybe you have cleaned out your old house, and have found so much stuff you forgot you had and don’t actually need then a general waste bin will suit you. Maybe you have renovated a bit, and have a few bricks and tiles lying about – you will need a cleanfill bin.

Perhaps, you have some clean soil, lumped in a pile in the corner of your garden that is a bit of an eyesore! Just order a clean dirt / soil bin and then the problem is solved!

For a full list of what can and can’t go in any of the bins, simply log into www.bookabin.co.nz and have a look at out FAQ’s page.

What type of skip do I need for stones, soil and green waste?
Probably two small bins as the green waste will go in a Green Waste skip, the soil and stones will need to go into a Cleanfill bin.

We are looking for an Garden bin to hire. What is the most common one people use? How long can we have it for? And how much? Thanks.
A Green Waste bin for your leafy green waste and a Cleanfill bin for soil dirt stones etc. You can have it for as long as you like up to 28 days, the website will calculate the best price for you based on your requirements.

I am looking at booking a 4.5 m bin for Tauranga. Can you advise who your service provider in this area is?
Once you book your bin the website will generate an email which will outline the name of your supplier and their contact details so you are able to contact them directly.

Think I’ll need a bigger bin! Can I vary my booking please and change to a 6 cubic metre bin?
Yes, just contact your supplier directly to arrange this.

I currently have surplus compost material, mainly soil and also partly rotted down material in compost bins and in a separate pile I have grass and clippings. Can your Cleanfill bin be used for this type of waste please as I no longer have room to use?
The best bin to use for this waste is a Green Waste skip.

I want to get rid of some 2mx2m (x4 pieces) and 2mx1m (x12pieces) of ply. – Used for a booth – What size bin do you suggest?
Take a look at the indicative only images on the website (at the Bin Size part of the process) it will give you an idea of the size of the bin so you can see which bin will suit you best.

Wanting to know if bin comes with wheelbarrow access or a door?
As we use a variety of suppliers we can’t always guarantee specific features of a bin. If you require something other than a standard skip, often it is helpful to contact a local supplier directly if the feature is of necessity.

Unfortunately, we currently are unable to process same day deliveries. You can book a bin for the next day anytime before 11pm the day prior. Once your booking is made you will be issued an email outlining your suppliers contact details so you can call them directly to arrange delivery time. You can also note a preferred delivery time on your booking form. Generally our suppliers deliver bins before 11am.
