How long can I keep the skip bin?

December 9th, 2010 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

When you place your bin booking at www.bookabin.co.nz you nominate the dates you need the skip bin for. Most hires last between 3 and 5 days, but you are able to book for up to 28 days if you need a skip bin for a longer period of time. The price that www.bookabin.co.nz  quotes includes keeping the skip bin for the number of days specified as well as the delivery, collection and disposal of the waste (up to 150kg per 1 cubic meter).
If unforeseen circumstances mean that you have not finished with the skip bin on the nominated collection date, you should advise the supplier as early as possible. Provided the skip bin has not been booked out on another job, they can usually be flexible.

Rubbish at Work!

April 7th, 2010 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

Bookabin provides a way for home owners to hire a skip bin for a short period of time. It can also be used by businesses who would rather not sign a longer term contract with a skip company, and just order a bin when they need it.

If you are a business and you want to remove waste, think first and foremost about recycling what you can before dumping the rest in a skip. Check out the Renew Waste Exchange to give you an idea of how to get rid of some of that junk in a positive way, visit http://www.renew.org.nz/. Renew Waste Exchange is a business to business transfer of unwanted materials, you can specify what you have available and produce a listing for others who may be looking for it. You can also search for materials that you may require.

Once you have recycled as much as you can, order your bin efficiently through the bookabin site, just enter your postcode to get a quote matching the requirements you have.

Easter Weekend Is Approaching Fast!

February 28th, 2010 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

It is a very busy one for bookabin as it is the perfect weekend for hiring a bin. The weekend is a long one, so for all of those who are not going away before winter really hits then how about having a cleanout, tidy up the garden and/or dispose of all the rubbish left over from the renovation. bookabin.co.nz has 4 different bin types: general waste bin, cleanfill bin, green garden waste bin and a clean soil and dirt bin. Have a look at the FAQ page for more details on what can and can not be disposed of in each bin type.
