Skip Bin Hire….How Much Does It Cost???

March 26th, 2009 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

bookabin is the original online bin hire website. Others have tried to follow suit but they only present pricing from one supplier. bookabin works with many suppliers to provide customers the best priced service from a local supplier.

Once a customer enters their post code, bookabin will search through all of the local supplier schedules to present the customer with the best price matching their exact requirements (waste type, bin size and dates required). bookabin saves customers time by searching for the best price so they don’t have to.

If you are a customer looking to hire a bin, here are a couple of bookabin tips for you:

  • try different dates, shorter hire is cheaper but sometimes you can get a good rate for more than 6 days (yes you can book your bin for up to four weeks, unlike other bin suppliers)
  • try a size larger/smaller, you may be surprised that you can get a better rate on a slightly larger bin if you are trying for a popular size
  • try booking at least a week in advance to get the best price, the cheapest price is always presented first so the best priced stock will book out quickly
  • try our LIVE CHAT service on the website to instantly ask our staff any questions you may have, now isn’t that better than being transferred or put on hold by more than one company each time you are trying to source a competitive quote?

bookabin is the easiest way to book your skip bin, give it a try today!

Vote-Vember

November 15th, 2008 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

Congratulations John Key on becoming New Zealand’s next Prime Minister and bringing National back.

As for Helen Clark, you fought a tough battle and have made some amazing advancements in New Zealand over the last 9 years! That is an incredibly long time standing in as our ‘Main Lady’.

As for anyone who is disappointed as to how the results played out, I’m sure if all the people who didn’t vote for as they thought “Ahh well, John Key is going to win anyway!” had actually gone and stood ground for Labour then maybe, just maybe they would have won. Only about 78% of people voted which is actually 2% down from last elections! Bill and Ben will unfortunately not be joining the party and making their Political Debut. Even though we have no doubt that they would be successful in putting the Party back in Political Party!

Anyhoo, this week the link between Vote-Vember and bins is a GENERAL WASTE BIN!

Not only because it has just been the General Elections (hahaha) but because there could be some General rubbish to be disposed of!

Big billboards blocking the sun out of your backyard? Old voting slips? Boxes which were used for the election results? These are all perfect matches for a General Waste Bin.

All light general around the house rubbish which you need to get rid of is 1 website away of being removed! Simply pop online and visit our website, www.bookabin.co.nz, enter in your postcode and follow the steps! In less time than it takes to tally up the General Election votes your skip bin will arrive!

This broadcast was proudly brought to you by Bookabin™

Don’t miss next week’s blog as it will contain some FANTASTIC insight on Bro-Vember

So what are you waiting for? Oh yeah, you’ll probably need a skip bin. So why not take the time now and book one online in less than 60 seconds! You could get started on that clean-up tomorrow!

Sunday Is Father’s Day!

September 4th, 2008 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

Sunday is the day we celebrate the big guy, Fathers Day, the annual celebration of the paternal parent.

Most fathers will be getting gifts of socks, ties and underwear. Some very lucky dads will be getting Power tools, lucky Lotto tickets and other manly equipment. If your dad is ”into” the “outdoors” why not think outside the square and hire him a skip bin!

I’m sure most Mums will be impressed with your gratitude towards your Father and you never know, he may be able to fill it up with all his old socks, ties and underwear to make way for all his new stuff!

Take a look at our General Waste Bin prices at www.bookabin.co.nz (these are the bins you can fill with bits and bobs). If he’s a greenie, go for a Green Waste Bin to dispose of all his garden waste. If he’s more of a “Tim the Tool Man” a Clean fill bin will suit him best.

Book and pay online, your “gift” will be delivered and you won’t have had to make any phone calls, shopping Mall visits or cash withdrawals, simple!

What’s Happening In Wellington?!!!

August 7th, 2008 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

Known for their windy weather, isn’t it nice for Wellingtonians to know that the rest of NZ’s inhabitants have been experiencing a bit of a “blow out”?

With the wild and crazy weather we are currently experiencing, some of us are in need of a skip bin to rid ourselves of the garden destruction that has occurred.

What type of skip bin hire would you choose? That depends on the waste type you have.

Loads of broken branches and extra leaves? Anything organic that has come to grief will go into a Green Waste Receptacle.

Old shed fallen down? A General Waste Bin is the way to go. Please note, this bin does have a weight limit 150kg per 1 cubic metre so maybe think twice about loading it up with all the loose roof tiles. A Cleanfill Bin has no weight limit and can be filled with concrete, bricks, clay, rocks, sand, rubble and dirt, so it would be your best option for heavy waste.

If you are searching from the Wellington area take a look at www.bookabin.co.nz. Especially for you this week we have local suppliers best rates in: Dalefield, Carterton, Kaori, Levin, Lower Hutt, Ohau Horowhenua, Otaki, Paekakariki, Papawai, Paraparaumu, Porirua, Pukerua Bay, Upper Hutt, Waikanae, Wainuiomata, and Wellington Central.

Communication Breakdown!

July 17th, 2008 by The BookaBin New Zealand Bin Hire Team

Here at Bookabin we like to be kept up to speed on the status of our suppliers and we’re sure the feelings mutual. Having access to contact details such as a cell phone or direct dial makes it easier for both parties if any issues occur during your delivery and pickup times. Whether it be that nobody’s home or there is an issue with a pincode to even get onto the property we would need to be made aware. You can ensure that the bin booking process goes off without a hitch if you provide us with a number we can contact you on directly on the day of the delivery.

So what are you waiting for? The right supplier is only a click away!
